Dreamless

I bet, at some point in your life, you’ve had an idea

An idea that would make you rich and famous. Give you everything you ever wanted and bury you in success. I bet that idea came out of where you were, what your life was. You hated your job. Your town. Your home. Your friends. Your family. You hated that you had to ask people to pay you back. You hated that you had to budget. That you couldn’t save. That you had to wake up for work in the morning and tie a tie around your neck like a noose to strangle your own self, barely breathing while you lived a life for someone else. You hated everything your life was so you came up with a way to escape. To run away

But how much do you really know about where you’re going?

How much of what you feel is real?

Is it even worth it?

The burden of your dream is that it’s not real until you make it real…

Dreamless is a play written and directed by Jesse Roman and River Foster that explores the pursuit, sacrifice, and ambition it takes to summit a dream and overcome its greatest obstacle; yourself.
